SECOND ALERT NOTICE RE: BAN ON IMPORTATION OF LIVESTOCK, MEAT AND MEAT PRODUCTS FROM TAIWAN
<div align="justify"> Per Memorandum issued by the Office of the Secretary implementing a temporary ban on the Importation of livestock, meat and meat products from Taiwan you are hereby directed to continue to be on the alert for said items. The Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak in Taiwan continues to spread. This is to reiterate the instruction to exercise vigilance and alertness on said importations. Please disseminate this information to all concerned veterinary quarantine officers in the international air and sea ports.
