AMENDMENT TO MC 2011-004, RE: 2011 REVISED TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CPC AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF

SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO MC 2011-004, RE: 2011 REVISED TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CPC AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF

On May 25, 2011, this Board has issued Memorandum Circular 2011-004, Re: 2011 REVISED TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CPC AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.

After consultation meetings held with the stakeholders regarding new policies and guidelines and processes pertaining to Certificate of Public Convenience/Franchise, it was agreed that the submission of Certification from the Social Security System shall be dispensed with.

In view thereof, this Board hereby amends MC 2011-004-040, No. 34 by excluding the provision stating that " The PUV operator shall also submit along with the Annual Report a Certification from the Social Security System that all contributions for the employees have been paid ".

All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded and amended accordingly.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
