AMENDMENT TO DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 55, SERIES OF 2010, RE-CONDUCT OF PRE-PROCUREMENT, PROCUREMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF LOCALLY-FUNDED CIVIL WORKS PROJECTS

In the interest of the service, amendments to Department Order No. 55, dated 30 October 2010, are hereby provided as follows:

Variation Orders costing up to P2 Million shall be approved by the concerned District Engineer and Variation Orders costing above 2 Million but not exceeding P5 Million shall be approved by the concerned Regional Director.

It is hereby directed, however, that Variation Orders shall not involve additional funding requirement for the- project as contracted.

Certificate of Inspection prior to first and final payments for projects costing above P20 Million up to P50 Million shall be signed by the concerned Regional Director; and, for projects costing P20 Million and below, by the concerned District Engineer.

This Order amends the pertinent provisions of D.O. No. 55, series of 2010, and takes effect immediately.
