[ PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 1023, September 22, 1976 ]

AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE.

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and to correct typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following:

SECTION 1. The Repealing Clause of Presidential Decree No. 729, which reads as follows, is denominated as Section 10.

“SECTION 10. All Acts, executive orders, ordinances, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Decree are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.”

SEC. 2. Section ten of the same Decree is renumbered accordingly as Section eleven.

SEC. 3. This Decree shall take effect immediately

Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of September in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-six.
