AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE TEACHING OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE IN THE HIGH SCHOOLS OF THE GOVERNMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
Only Section. Beginning with the school year nineteen hundred and eighteen, the Spanish language shall be one of the subjects of study in the last two years in the high schools of the Government: Provided, however, That said language shall be taught only to pupils making application therefor.
