DECLARING FRIDAY, 14 AUGUST 2026, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF DAVAO

WHEREAS, the City of Davao marks its annual celebration of Kadayawan Festival and the Indigenous Peoples Day every third week of August;

WHEREAS, on 14 August 2026, Friday, the City of Davao will mark the celebration of the Indigenous Peoples Day in relation to the Kadayawan sa Davao Festival;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Davao be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 14 August 2026, a special (non-working) day in the City of Davao.

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
