TRANSFEREES IN THE TEMPORARY TRANSFERS OF QUOTAS ON CRITICAL CATEGORIES REQUIRED TO BE COMPLIANT WITH THE GTEB ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

The Board on 28 August 2003 approved and confirmed the policy requiring transferees of temporary quota transfers on critical categories to be compliant with the GTEB Accreditation Program inclusive of the Re-Accreditation component. This aims to prepare all garment companies to be competitive in the international market after the abolition of quota starting on 01 January 2005.

This Circular takes effect immediately.
