AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE SARANGANI MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN BALUT ISLAND, MUNICIPALITY OF JOSE ABAD SANTOS, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Batasang Pambansa in session assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health, a ten-bed capacity municipal hospital in Balut Island, Municipality of Jose Abad Santos, Province of Davao del Sur, to be known as Sarangani Municipal Hospital.

SEC. 2. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as nay be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall De included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
