LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 95-218, July 10, 1995

[ LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 95-218, July 10, 1995 ]

CONVERSION OF RIGHT HAND DRIVE TRUCKS TO LEFT HAND DRIVE

Reports reaching this Office that some LTO employees refused to register converted RHD trucks to LHD if the repositioning was undertaken by motor shops not recommended by them. It has been repeatedly announced that LTO is not imposing any accreditation of motor shops and that conversion is an "open policy". Any motor shop or anybody can perform the required conversion provided it conforms with the Philippine National Standard.

The official or employee of the Land Transportation Office who violate this memo circular shall be dealt with administratively.

For strict compliance.

Adopted: 10 July 1995

(SGD.) MANUEL F. BRUAN Brig. Gen AFP (Ret) Assistant Secretary
