TURN-OVER/RELEASE OF FORFEITED USED CLOTHING UNDER PMO 23 AND OTHER RELIEF ITEMS
In order to rationalize the disposal of used clothings and other relief items, the following guidelines are hereby issued:
No turn-over/release of forfeited used clothings under Presidential Memorandum Order (PMO) 23 and other relief items to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) or to charitable institutions without prior clearance by the Commissioner of Customs;
Submission to the Office of the Commissioner all donations of forfeited items to the DSWD under PMO 23 or such other charitable institutions for the period covering July 1 to December 31, 1998; and
Submission to the Office of the Commissioner the list of all seized used clothings and other relief items, indicating therein the description, volume and the status of seizure/abandonment of said goods.
