CENTRALIZATION IN THE ISSUANCE OF ALL ISM/NSM CERTIFICATES AND PLANS APPROVAL FOR SHIP MODIFICATIONS/ALTERATIONS/CONVERSIONS

Notice is hereby given to the public that effective 15 February 2009, the following issuances/approvals of this Authority shall henceforth be signed only by the MARINA Administrator:

* All Certificates (DOC, SMC) relative to the implementation of and compliance with the ISM/NSM Code;

* Approval of plans for the conversion/alteration/modification of ships.

Affected entities/applicants are hereby advised to schedule the filing of applications involving the foregoing issuance/approvals at least one (1) month in advance, taking due consideration of the herein new procedure.
