[ PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1051, November 25, 1976 ]
CHANGING THE NAME OF THE VETERANS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL TO VETERANS MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the Veterans Memorial Hospital marks its twenty-first foundation anniversary on November 20, 1976;
WHEREAS, the Hospital has made outstanding contributions in safeguarding the health and well being of our people; and
WHEREAS, said Hospital possesses all the attributes and capabilities that characterize and distinguish a medical center, whether here or abroad, in terms of service, facilities and competence of its staff and personnel;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order and decree that effective November 20, 1976, the Veterans Memorial Hospital shall be renamed "Veterans Memorial Medical Center."
Done in the City of Manila, this 25th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-six.
