AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES TO ENTER INTO A COMPROMISE IN THE CASE ARISING OUT OF THE PROBATE OF THE WILL OF THE LATE DON FRANCISCO R. SANTOS.

WHEREAS, it is advisable in the public interest that the case arising out of the probate of the will of the late,Don Francisco R. Santos be settled extrajudicially, in order to make available for immediate use the estate left to the Government by die aforesaid testator.

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

SECTION. 1. The President of the Philippines is authorized to enter into a compromise with the oppositors to the probate of the will of the late Con Francisco R. Santos, upon such terms and conditions as he may determine to be convenient in the public interest, to execute the necessary documents, and to carry into effect the compromise so agreed upon.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
