RELEASE OF PRE-PRINTED SUGAR QUEDAN-PERMIT FORMS
In order for the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) to exercise effectively its regulatory function in the printing and distribution of sugar quedan-permits forms with the end-in-view of preserving the sanctity of the quedans as a negotiable document, beginning Crop Year 2000-2001 and thereafter, all operating sugar mill/refinery companies are hereby advised that, prior to the release of their pre-printed quedan forms for use for the current coming crop year, a clearance shall be secured from the SRA for the release of the preprinted sugar quedan-permit forms by the official printer of the quedans.
Pursuant to Circular Letter No. 43, Series of 1999-2000, the aforesaid issuance of clearance requires the accounting of all quedan-permit forms of the last crop year received by the mill/refinery from the official printer of the said forms and the shredding/burning of the last crop year unused quedan forms of the mill/refinery concerned.
All concerned should be guided accordingly.
