[ PROCLAMATION NO. 186, June 13, 1950 ]

FIXING THE DATE OF EFFECTIVITY OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 505 ENTITLED “AN ACT TO CREATE THE PROVINCES OF ORIENTAL MINDORO AND OCCIDENTAL MINDORO.”

By virtue of the power conferred upon me by section 8 of Republic Act No. 505, entitled “An Act to create the Provinces of Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro,” I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, do hereby fix the fifteenth day of November, nineteen hundred and fifty, as the date of effectivity of said Act.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty, and of the Independence of the Philipines, the fourth.
