[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 198, October 27, 1969 ]

CREATING FISHERMAN’S MARKET AUTHORITY

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Fisherman’s Market Authority, composed of the following:

The Mayor of Navotas, Rizal

The Commissioner of Fisheries

Co-Chairman

A representative of the Fishermen’s Group

Member

A representative of the Fish Broker’s Association

Member

Director Alejandro Deleña, Bureau of Public Works

Member

The Provincial Development Officer, Rizal

Member

The Authority shall draw up a program for the immediate establishment and operation of a Fisherman’s Market within one week from the date hereof and, upon its establishment, shall supervise its operation and administration.

The Authority is empowered to call upon any government department, bureau, office or instrumentality for such assistance as it may need for the discharge of its functions.

Done in the City of Manila, this 27th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-nine.
