[ PROCLAMATION NO. 1226, September 29, 2021 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2021 AND FRIDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2021, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS IN THE CITY OF ANGELES, PROVINCE OF PAMPANGA

WHEREAS , on 11 October 2021 (Monday) and 29 October 2021 (Friday), the City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga, will mark the opening day of the Kuliat Festival ( Fiestang Kuliat ) and the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan , a festival which symbolizes the resilience of the people during the Mt. Pinatubo eruption, respectively; and

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Angeles be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA , Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE , do hereby declare 11 October 2021and 29 October 2021 as special (non-working) days in the City of Angeles, Province of Pampanga.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF , I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
