[ PROCLAMATION NO. 63, November 28, 1962 ]

DECLARING NOVEMBER 29, 1962, AS HOME EXTENSION DAY

In order to appreciate more fully and fulfill the vital influence and potentialities of the Filipino home and to emphasize the need of developing household arts and industries in such a manner as to strengthen their material sufficiency, aesthetic effectiveness, and moral stability, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare November 29, 1962, as Home Extension Day.

I call upon all government and non-government entities and all residents of the Philippines to lend their full cooperation in the appropriate observance of this day.

IN WITNESS WHEREORE, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-two.
