CREATING THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE SUMMER WORKCAMP FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE TONDO FIRE VICTIMS

Pursuant to the power vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create the Executive Committee of the Summer Workcamp for the children of the Tondo fire victims.

The Committee shall be composed of the following members:

Mr. Rosendo Marquez, Presidential Arm on Community Development

Chairman

Undersecretary Jose Crisol, Department of National Defense

Vice-Chairman

Brig. Gen. Fidel Ramos, Armed Forces of the Philippines

Member

Mrs. Estela P. Sindico, Department of Social Welfare

Member

Dr. Lupo Carlota, Department of Health

Member

Mr. Rony V. Diaz, Director-General, National Manpower and Youth Council

Member

The committee shall have the following functions:

To formulate policies concerning logistical and personnel requirements governing the project.

To organize the different committees that will implement the workcamp proper.

To establish areas of cooperation and integration among the different agencies involved.

To make recommendations on the actual implementation of the project.

Done in the City of Manila, this 6th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-one.
