[ BSP CIRCULAR LETTER, April 14, 1999 ]

NEDA-APPROVED REVISED RULES AND REGULATIONS FURTHER SIMPLIFYING EXPORT PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTATION

For your information and guidance, attached is a copy, transmitted to BSP by the Export Development Council, of the Revised Rules and Regulations Implementing P.D. 930, which were approved by the NEDA Board last 07 October 1998 and will be effective on 17 May 1999.

Kindly note the following:

Cement and clinker have been removed from the Regulated Export list; and

Optional List under Annex B pertains to products which may be issued an Optional Export Clearance upon request of the exporter.

Please, inform your exporter-clients accordingly.
