In accordance with the policy to revamp the Philippine Tobacco Administration (PTA), it is directed that a thorough and accurate physical inventory of all tobacco stokes be made in all PTA warehouses located in Malinta, Valenzuela, Bulacan and in other tobacco-producing provinces.

For this purpose, you are likewise directed to constitute as many Inventory Teams as may be necessary to accomplish the task within two (2) weeks from receipt hereof.

The various Teams for the designated provinces, including the PTA tobacco warehouse, location and tobacco stocks of crop 1972 which shall be subject to inventory are hereunder indicated:

Isabela Province

Team I — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Tumauini Cabagan Roxas Gamu

Team II — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Ilagan Naguilian Luna

Team III — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Echague Jones Maddela Cabatuan

Cagayan Province

Team IV — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Tuguegarao Enrile Solana Piat Faire Amulung

Team V — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Alcala Baggao Gattarn

Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and Abra ; Buying Station

Team VI — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Bacarra Magsingal Dolores Bangued

Visayas and Mindanao

Team VII — Five (5) members from other agencies assisted by one (1) PTA Representative and Warehouseman concerned Cebu Cotabato Oriental Misamis

All expenses incident to the conduct of this inventory shall be borne by the Philippine Tobacco Administration.

The Inventory Teams will also look into the disposal of Tobacco stocks of previous crop years of 1970 and 1971 reported damaged by PTA Warehousemen and covered by Inventory and Inspection Report supported by Waste Materials Reports.

The Chief, Philippines Constabulary, is also directed to immediately padlock and keep under constant surveillance all PTA warehouses before and after the said inventory. All tobacco stocks thereafter will be transferred immediately by PTA to their Central Warehouse in Malinta, Valenzuela, Bulacan, for sale by public bidding.
