DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS

WHEREAS , Wednesday, February 27, 2008, marks the 69th Foundation Day anniversary of the City of General Santos and Kalilangan Festival;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 27, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
