[ IC CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 4-95, January 30, 1995 ]
INSURANCE AGENTS EXAMINATION
In line with the deregulation policy of the government and to encourage the insurance industry to exercise self-regulation of some aspects of its activities, beginning 1995, the Insurance Commission will no longer conduct the regular provincial examinations for both life and non-life agents. Instead, the Life Agents Testing Service of the Philippine Life Insurance Association is deputized to conduct the same. Examinations for walk-in applicants shall continue to be administered by the Insurance Commission in Manila and in the district offices in the cities of Dagupan, Davao and Cebu.
Adopted: 30 Jan. 1995
(SGD.) ADELITA A. VERGEL DE DIOS Insurance Commissioner
