AMENDMENT OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NOS. AVT-2015-1950 AND AVT-2015-1949

In furtherance of the improvement and fine-tuning of the LTO Motor Vehicle Plates Standardization Program (MVPSP), the following Memorandum Circulars are hereby amended:
1. Memorandum Circular No. AVT-2015-1950, dated 10 June 2015 the MVPSP
2. Memorandum Circular No. AVT-2015-1949, dated 2 June 2015
Subject: Compliance to the Proper Attachment of License Plates Pursuant to the MVPSP

Subject: Use of the Supplied Plate Locks for the LTO MVPSP
Henceforth, failure to use the specified plate locks and/or the use of any other bolts/screws other than those supplied by the LTO for the new standard license plate design shall no longer be considered as “improper attachment”.
Nonetheless, consistent with Section 18 of R.A. 4136, number plates shall be kept clean and cared for, and shall be firmly affixed to the motor vehicle in such a manner as will make it entirely visible and always legible.
