AMENDING SECTION 2.9 OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 91-137, DATED 21 JUNE 1991

Section 2.9 of Memorandum Circular No. 91-137 is hereby amended to read as follows:

“Section 2.9 – In the National Capital Region, in case of applications for change venue with corresponding change denomination from private to for hire, the same shall be accepted by the Pilot District Office while waiting for the confirmation from the district office where the vehicle was previously registered, provided however, that the Certificate of Registration and as well as the sticker shall be withheld until such time that the approved confirmation shall have been received. Provided, further, that all applications of this nature shall be accompanied by proof that the unit applied for is covered with a duly approved certificate of public convenience. This provision, however, shall not apply where the transaction applied for involves transfer of ownership.” This amendatory Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
