[ PROCLAMATION NO. 385, April 14, 1953 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 27 TO MAY 3, 1953, AS TRANSPORTATION WEEK

In recognition of the vital role played by transportation in the economic, social and cultural progress of the country and to give further impetus and encouragement to the transportation business with a view to its further development, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from April 27 to May 3, 1953, as Transportation Week.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-three, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the seventh.
