DECLARING THURSDAY, 20 OCTOBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOR NORTE

WHEREAS, General Artemio Ricarte, a general during the Philippine Revolution and Philippine-American Was was born on 20 October 1866 in Batac, Ilocos Norte;

WHEREAS , on 20 October 2022, Thursday, the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte, will mark the 156 th birth anniversary of General Artemio Ricarte;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batac be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to public health measures of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare, Thursday, 20 October 2022, a special (non-working) day in the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
