POEA PROCESSING OF HOLDERS OF VISAS UNDER THE NEW ITALIAN IMMIGRATION CATEGORY, "SPONSORSHIP FOR EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES (INSERIMENTO NEL MERCATO DEL LAVORO)

Filipinos who are issued visas by the Italian Embassy in Manila under the "Sponsorship for Employment Purposes" (Inserimento Nel Mercato Del Lavoro) category, shall be processed by POEA under the Name Hire facility to ensure their protection and welfare once they are in Italy.

As such, they will be required to pay the corresponding fees (OWWA, Medicare, processing fees) and present the following before issuance of an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC):

a. Passport with appropriate visa issued by the Italian Embassy in Manila, and

b. Copy of "Domanda Di Prestazione Di Garanzia, Presentata Da Un Soggetto Privato" issued by the Questura.

This Circular takes effect immediately.
