STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE REQUIREMENT FOR SUBMISSION OF NBI CLEARANCE VALID FOR ONE YEAR FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SIRB
Please be advised that MARINA Memorandum Circular No. 2008-04 contains no provisions for the waiver of the required submission of an NBI clearance, valid for one (1) year, for seafarers who shall apply for the issuance of a Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB), within ten (10) days from disembarkation. Said policy shall be strictly enforced, unless otherwise revoked.
