[ LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 538-2004, September 09, 2004 ]

REITERATION OF MEMORANDUM DATED 15 JULY 1991 ON NON-ACCEPTANCE OF STOCK/SALES REPORT FROM UNACCREDITED MAID

This is to reiterate Memorandum * dated 15 July 1991 regarding Administrative Order No. 88-001 dated 08 July 1998, that stock/sales report of unaccredited Manufacturer, Assembler, Importer and Dealer (M.A.I.D) shall not be accepted.

Likewise, motor vehicle or any of its components from unaccredited MAID shall not be registered in any LTO district offices.

The Memorandum dated 15 July 1991 also provided that any transaction relative to the registration of manufactured/assembled motor vehicles in violation to this Order shall mean a prima facie evidence for an appropriate administrative action sanctioned by law.

Anybody found violating the said Memorandum shall be dealt with accordingly.
