AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. MC-91-143 [*] RE: VALIDITY OF POSTAL MONEY ORDER PAID AS DEPOSIT FOR REGISTRATION FEES

Paragraph three (3) of Memorandum Circular No. MC-91-143 dated 20 November 1991 should read as follows:

To correct this compartmentalized policy it is hereby directed that all postal money order paid as deposit for all classes of motor vehicles will carry a validity period of three (3) months reckoned from the date it was filed. A penalty of fifty percent (50%) surcharge shall be collected for all motor vehicles paid after the expiration of the validity period.

This memorandum circular shall take effect immediately.
