REPUBLIC ACT NO. 773 - AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE STUDY, CONTROL AND ERADICATION OF COCONUT AND OTHER PLANT DISEASES AND PESTS, INCLUDING RATS.

AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE STUDY, CONTROL AND ERADICATION OF COCONUT AND OTHER PLANT DISEASES AND PESTS, INCLUDING RATS.

Be it exacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the study, control and eradication of coconut and all other plant diseases and pests, including rats.

SEC. 2. This sum shall be expended by the Director of Plant Industry with the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
