REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8936 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MATAGANGTANG, MUNICIPALITY OF PLACER, PROVINCE OF MASBATE TO BE KNOWN AS THE MATAGANGTANG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in Barangay Matagangtang, Municipality of Placer, Province of Masbate.

SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby directed to take the necessary steps for the immediate establishment, operation and maintenance of the school herein provided.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 16, 2000 and June 8, 2000, respectively.
