REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1588 - AN ACT CONDONING THE LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SIXTY PESOS IMPOSED ON ENGINEER-CONTRACTOR ANDRES BOLINAS, JR., OF DARAGA, ALBAY, DUE TO HIS FAILURE TO FINISH WITHIN THE CONTRACT PERIOD THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LEGASPI SLAUGHTER-HOUSE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The liquidated damages in the amount of four thousand five hundred sixty pesos imposed on Engineer-Contractor Andres Bolinas, Jr., of Daraga, Albay, due to his failure to finish within the contract period the construction of the Legaspi Slaughterhouse, is condoned.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
