REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4296 - AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAFT, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, TO BE KNOWN AS TAFT EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Department of Health, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Taft, Province of Samar, to be known as Taft Emergency Hospital.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Health shall appoint such personnel as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. Such sum as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act is hereby authorized to be appropriated annually out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
