REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8966 - AN ACT TRANSFERRING THE HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED WITHIN THE CAMPUS OF THE MAGALLANES SCHOOL OF FISHERIES TO BARANGAY CENTRO, MUNICIPALITY OF MAGALLANES, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON AND CHANGING ITS NAME TO MAGALLANES NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The high school within the campus of the Magallanes School of Fisheries is hereby transferred to Barangay Centro, Municipality of Magallanes, Province of Sorsogon and its name changed to Magallanes National High School.
SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 3. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
