RMO No. 85-99 — Prescribes the policies and guidelines to ensure the safety and security of computer equipment of the BIR Digest

REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 85-99 issued December 3, 1999 prescribes the policies and guidelines to ensure the safety and security of computer equipment (hardware, peripherals and software) of the BIR. All heads of offices will be held directly responsible for the safekeeping of computer equipment and are required to immediately formulate and implement security measures for the care and custody of all computer hardware, peripherals and software installed/stored in their respective offices.
