REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7739 - AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE MINTAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MINTAL, TUGBOK DISTRICT, DAVAO CITY, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established in Barangay Mintal, Tugbok District, Davao City, a comprehensive high school to be known as the Mintal Comprehensive High School under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall formulate the necessary rules and regulations implementing this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
