REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6687 - AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF POTIA, PROVINCE OF IFUGAO, INTO LISTA AND CONFIRMING THE BARANGAY OF STA. MARIA MUNICIPALITY OF LISTA, PROVINCE OF IFUGAO, AS THE SEAT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LISTA

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The name of the Municipality of Potia is hereby changed to the Municipality Lista.

SEC. 2. The present seat of the municipality government in the Barangay of Sta. Maria, Municipality of Lista, Province of Ifugao is hereby confirmed as the Seat government of the Municipality of Lista.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval and in publication in the circular (2 newspapers of general circular).

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 29, 1988 and October 21, 1988, respectively.
