AN ACT CREATING THE NORTHERN ENGINEERING DISTRICT IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the Third Congressional District of the Province of Batangas, except the City of Lipa, is hereby constituted into a separate engineering district to be known as the Northern Engineering District of the Province of Batangas, with principal offices at the Municipality of Tanauan, same province.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Public Works and Communications shall allocate the necessary personnel, property, equipment, materials and supplies to the new engineering district within the period of ninety days after the approval of this Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
