REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8894 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT DAGA, MUNICIPALITY OF CONNER, PROVINCE OF APAYAO TO BE KNOWN AS THE GOV. BENJAMIN LEGUIAB, SR. MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. There is hereby established a national high school at Daga, Municipality of Conner, Province of Apayao to be known as the Gov. Benjamin Leguiab, Sr. Memorial National High School.

SEC. 2. The school shall offer secondary education proper as well as undertake other activities to carry out its objectives as may be authorized by the Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

SEC. 3. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
