REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8020 - AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE NATIONAL KIDNEY INSTITUTE TO NATIONAL KIDNEY AND TRANSPLANT INSTITUTE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The National Kidney Institute is hereby renamed as the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and shall be designated as the lead center for organ transplantation.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on May 25, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
