REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6941 - AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST NINE OF EVERY YEAR AS GOVERNOR ROQUE B. ABLAN, SR. DAY, A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. August Nine of every year is hereby declared as Governor Roque B. Ablan, Sr. Day, a special holiday in the Province of Ilocos Norte to celebrate the birthday and commemorate the memory of the late governor and labor leader.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
