REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6408 - AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO REHABILITATE THE PROVINCES OF COTABATO, LANAO DEL NORTE, LANAO DEL SUR, SOUTH COTABATO AND BUKIDNON AND OTHER AREAS IN THE ISLAND OF MINDANAO FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE CONFLICTS AMONG THE ILA-GAS, MUSLIMS AND THE GOVERNMENT ARMED FORCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled :

SECTION 1. The sum of ten million pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds of the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to rehabilitate the Provinces of Cotabato, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, South Cotabato and Bukidnon and other areas in the Island of Mindanao for damages caused by the recent conflicts among the Muslims, Ilagas and the Government Armed Forces.

SEC. 2. The above fund shall be adminaistered by the Department of Social Welfare and other relief agencies.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect after the November eight, nineteen hundred and seventy-one election.
