REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5473 - AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS TO IMPLEMENT REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED FIFTY-TWO HUNDRED FOUR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The following hums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses of the Court of Appeals in implementing the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Fifty-two hundred four, entitled "An Act to amend Sections twenty-four, thirty-two, thirty-three, and thirty-seven of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred ninety-six, otherwise known as 'The Judiciary Act of 1948,' as amended, and for other purposes," which created two new divisions of the Court of Appeals for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine.
I. Personal Services
March 1 to June 30, 1969 ( for four months)
1. Six Associate justices at P24,000 P48,000.00
2. Six private secretaries at P9,000 18,000.00
3. Six attorneys at P7,200 14,400.00
4. Six stenographers at P4,800 9,600.00
5. Six janitors-messengers at P2, 940 5,880.00
Total for personal services P95,880.00
II. Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses
1. Traveling expenses of Justices including reimbursement for the use of their privately owned automobiles in connection with their attendance at the Court Session commutable monthly, but not to exceed P200 per month P4.800.00
2. Traveling- Expenses 17,280.00
3. Supplies and materials 15,320.00
4. Sundry expenses, including the repair and renovation of six (6) offices and rental for six cottages for the Associate Justices 50,000.00

III. Equipment
Equipment Outlay P120,000.00

IV. Special Purpose
1. For per diems of six (6) Justices and other personnel of the newly-created divisions of the Court of Appeals P59,760.00
