REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6295 - AN ACT CREATING THE WESTERN BATANGAS HIGHWAY ENGINEERING DISTRICT IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, the First Congressional District of the Province of Batangas, is hereby constituted into a separate engineering district to be known as the Western Batangas Highway Engineering District of the Province of Batangas, with principal office at the Municipality of Lemery, same province.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Public Works and Communications shall allocate the necessary personnel, property, equipment, materials and supplies to the new engineering district within the period of ninety days after the approval of this Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
