REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE Quezon City February 02, 2009 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 8-2009 SUBJECT : Missing original copies from two (2) unused BIR Form No. 2524 � Revenue Official Receipt TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned Notice is hereby given of the missing original copies from two (2) unused BIR Form No. 2524 � Revenue Official Receipt (ROR) with the following serial numbers: ROR200702024434 ROR200702024445 The abovementioned forms were reported as missing by Mr. Edwin M. Carandang, Revenue Collecting Officer, Revenue District Office No. 59, Revenue Region No. 09, San Pablo City. Consequently, the entire ROR sets bearing the said serial numbers are cancelled. All official transactions involving the use thereof are considered as INVALID. Internal Revenue Officials, employees and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in the event that the aforesaid forms are found and to take the necessary measures to prevent the improper or fraudulent disposition or use of the same.
