Revocation of First e-Bank Corp. Bank Licenses
CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 2003
TO : All Banks/NBFIs Under the Supervision of the BSP
Subject : Revocation of First e-Bank Corp. Bank Licenses
Effective the end of business day on 15 August 2003, selected assets and liabilities of First e-Bank Corporation (A Thrift Bank) have been acquired by Banco de Oro Universal Bank. Accordingly the banking licenses to operate as a private development bank, to engage in quasi banking and trust operations of the former are deemed automatically revoked.
