Petitioner's manifestation that it is no longer disputing the assessment for deficiency withholding tax for the year 2005; and that it voluntarily paid said tax in the amount of Forty Thousand Five Hundred Seven Pesos and 57/100 (P40,507.57), inclusive of surcharge, compromise and interest to date, as well as the compromise penalty in the amount of Twenty Five Thousand Pesos (P25,000.00) for its failure to register the computerized book of accounts due to inadvertence, is NOTED. 1 As regards petitioner's prayer that the instant case be now considered closed and terminated in view of its payment of the deficiency withholding tax and the 1 Exhibits "F" to "I."
RESOLUTI ON C.T.A. Case No. 7829 Page 2 compromise penalty; and considering that counsel for respondent interposed no objection thereto during the September 22, 2009 hearing, petitioner's motion is hereby GRANTED.
