REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1297 - AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THREE MILLION PESOS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING OR BUILDINGS FOR THE SAN LAZARO HOSPITAL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Out of the proceeds of the bond issues authorized under Republic Act Numbered One thousand, there is hereby authorized to be appropriated the sum of three million pesos for the construction of a building or buildings for the San Lazaro Hospital: Provided, That the building that will be constructed will have a normal bed capacity of at least one thousand: Provided, further, That not more than ten per cent of this sum shall be spent for overhead.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
